Blood Donor American Red Cross App Reviews

This app saved the day when I showed up at a donation appointment and realized my wallet was in another purse! I was able to show my donor card on he app and still donate. I love being able to see where my blood is in the post-donation process and where it ends up. Scheduling is a breeze . Love love love this app!!!!

I dont usually rate apps, but this one is totally worthy of a review! It is so well-made and so informative it is a pleasure to use. It makes me want to continue donating even more! It works just as you would hope an app would! Well done Red Cross!

Im 16 and the app wont let me create an account even though I live in an area where you can donate blood with parental consent at 16.

I donated blood about two months ago, with parental consent because I am under aged. I just received my donor card in the mail and thought I should get the app as well. The app does not even give me the chance to tell them I have parental consent because it asked for my birthday, says Im too young, and wont let me continue. I would like this fixed so I could use this app.

Easy way to find and make appointments. Keeps track of how much you give. Has your digital doner card on as well.

This is a well-done app. Love the donor card feature and being able to see my vitals from my last donation. Major feature request: support Apple Wallet for donor card. Five stars when this is supported.

I love all of the aspects of this app, from scheduling & updated history of donations to the blood selfie! I will definitely use this app to schedule regular donations since blood is so vital in saving millions of lives! This makes it that much easier!

It will be really nice if Rapid Pass was included in the app. 1. I like to have the blood trail working. I donated yesterday and it hasnt moved. 2. Id like the donation process time to reflect actual time, which is 2+ hours. 3. I love the health details.

Like others, I think it would be great to incorporate Rapid Pass but overall, an excellent app to schedule appointments and look over history. One other thing that would be nice is to have a "home" shortcut on all pages - when youre 8-9 steps deep in looking over blood drive details, you have to keep hitting "back" multiple times. Thats all, I love it

Im 16 and have donated with parent permission - I have already received my donor card. I wish I could use this app but it keeps telling me Im too young to donate when I already have. Please fix this!!

Worthless. Red Cross still calls for donations. Needs update so everyone is on the same time.

This app is great! Easy to use and very helpful. It beats carrying the old donor card in my wallet. If you give blood through the Red Cross, this app is a must have. Great job, ARC!

I havent had time to psychoanalyze this app. The last few times I have used it to schedule an appointment, it has worked fine, has shown the sponsor code where my husband works. Also if he has to reschedule me on his Blood Drive Coordinator calendar, the new time shows up on my app pretty fast. So the Red Cross computer systems are finally working together a bit better between national and local ARC blood donation units. It occurs to me the new RapidPass option seems to me missing from the app, so I will mosey on over to app support and suggest that. As it is, I can get to it from my phone browser and go that way. Or maybe its in this app but I havent found it yet (not immediately obvious, if it is?).

I use this app to schedule donations & track what happens to the blood I donate. Definitely worth the download.
