It makes giving blood fun
It makes giving blood fun
I was scheduled for a noon donation but the morning got messed up; I just needed a little extra time. Voila, the app was able to reschedule me for an hour later and it saved the day. Well done, Red Cross.
The app makes donating so simple. I love getting to see where my donation ends up!
Very smooth donation as the staff was very positive and supportive for my platelet donation will keep coming back
Donating was super easy n the staff was super friendly and professional!!
donate life
I wish it was a little easier to see where my previous donation has gone. I usually get an email that tells me but when I try to look it up in the app, I usually have to do some digging and searching to find it.
Never had a problem. Easy to navigate and fun to use.
Well it was a big disappointment giving this time. New way to check blood iron is going to create problems. Machine that takes blood pressure was not accurate, way higher than my normal. Then the person sticking my arm went through the vein. Flow stopped and didn’t get to donate. Very frustrating
I serve as a Donor Ambassador. We are NOT supposed to check donors in; we’re expected to teach donors how to check themselves in. Every donor must handle the scanners, which, after covid, seems unsanitary. To check in, donors MUST provide identification. The donor card on the app works every time. If you choose another form of identification, such as your driver’s license, it may or may not work on the first four or five attempts. Red Cross ABSOLUTELY MUST remind donors to bring identification. Please use this app, and remember to do Rapid Pass. Yes, screeners will ask several questions again. My apologies for the inconveniences. Remember that you are donating 16 ounces of fluid, the same amount as the bottles of water provided. Drink at least that much before your donation and more after. Thank you for your donation!
I’ve always felt this was a great app, but the latest change to include A1C levels makes it even better.
I love the feeling that I get when I see where my donation goes and that the physical part of myself is now in another person’s body and helping them.
It takes a long time to load some questions. It’s really frustrating when anything happens during completion of the rapid pass form, if anything happens, I have to restart the whole process.
Great ten of professionals who care about the process and are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this donating center
I’m a double red donor and really enjoy my visits to the Portland American Red Cross. The staff is great and professional. Really happy my girl Jolie is back!❤️
In my opinion, giving blood is a very good way to make to make a difference in the life of someone who is in need of blood, it very rewarding for me.
The app is very simple to navigate and get whatever information you may need. It makes life a little easier for when you’re donating! #GOPOWERRED
I find it very interesting that my donation can be tracked from day one to the day it’s utilized. I like to see where it goes.
The ID card works great, but the RapidPass is a real challenge. 1. It constantly freezes and does not progress through the questions 2. It does not save progress, so the RapidPass must be re-started from the beginning.
This app needs serious debugging. Tried 5 times today to complete Rapidpass and each time app froze on two different devices. Guaranteed to raise your blood pressure out of frustration. Worthless.
I love donating blood at the Marion Wisconsin high school. This is a well organized group of volunteers and a caring staff. Grilled cheese sandwiches offered after donating. I love it there.
Make it simpler please! There are too many questions and too many redundancies in your rapid pass
These are very friendly people… professionals, and very friendly. They make this whole process one big nothing burger!
My issue may be different from some other people’s but I had a situation where I went to donate the other day and the amount of blood collected was just shy of what is necessary. Because it wasn’t a full bag and they couldn’t keep it. there was no update in my app telling me how long I need to wait to donate again.Since there is a wait time between donations, I think that should apply to this as well. Now I’m not sure how long I have to wait before I can attempt another donation.
To give blood is a a worthy and selfless act. I have always felt grateful to be the one who gives rather than receives. I love receiving the email that notifies me where my blood has been sent and used.
Difficult to find things. Shows too many options. Requires user name and password at odd times during a session.
Bianca the phlebotomy tech was excellent. She was competent and professional, letting me know exactly what she was doing at all times. It really put me at ease. The greeter at the door was very nice as well, but didn’t get her name.
Good ap
Easy to use and keep track of appointments!!
Very resourceful
Great site for keeping up to date on appointments and rewards.
Great team all of them. Attentive. Caring and quick.
Love giving blood at First English Lutheran Church
The app makes the whole process super easy to find a location near you, signup for an appointment, then add it to your calendar on your phone. Also preregistration on your phone for the appointment saves you time when you arrive for the donation.
App is fantastic for time management so there’s more reasons to donate. There’s a reward program and there’s nothing better than blood donation swag!! I donate because my parents/siblings needed blood but I was lucky enough never to need it so I give it….one thing we ALL have in common is blood 🩸donate if you can, the app makes it so simple to find a spot close to you and schedule
Love being a donor. I feel valued and appreciated.
The American Red Cross Helped me donate my blood since I was 18 years old. It’s safe to donate and they always make me feel appreciated.
Love following the journey as to where my donation is delivered to 🩸
Using the app makes it super easy to book, and also when changes happen, to cancel appointments. I also love the ability to fill out the long form of questions and get rapid pass before giving. The sign in is the most time consuming part. Blood letting a simple quick ten minutes or so!
This allows scheduling to be done easily around my work schedule.
Makes donations much easier.
The current update is less easy to use than the previous edition. It’s harder to navigate to alternate sites of donation.
Giving back makes me feel good!
Every time I go EVERYONE is JOYOUS and FUNNN, Professional, KIND!!! THANK YOU RED CROSS FOR ALL YOU DO❤️❤️❤️ B. Potter
Scheduling an appointment was easy and intuitive even for an old man like me. They even informed me I needed to change my password because it was compromised. That process was also easy.
I absolutely love this app. When I have questions, I can just ask and get the answers I need. Easy to make appointments also. I highly recommend it! Donate Blood! Save a life! ❤️
Since I started giving blood the app helps me review my giving and see where it’s going.
Makes scheduling easy. Tracks health check results. I like seeing where my donation has been sent.
So easy to book an appointment!
The ARC spams so many notifications over and over. It becomes annoying to donate blood to them
